My name is Lelingao Aimson. I am from Senapati District, and I am totally blind. I stopped my education after Class 10 and had no idea how to continue my studies or become independent. No one guided me about what training or opportunities were available for us. But after attending this Career Awareness Workshop, I have gained new hope and confidence. I have learned that there are many training programs and career options that can help me build my future. Now I am motivated to join the foundation training and prepare myself for a job so that I can support myself and live independently.

I am Leitanthem Jesicca Devi from Porompat, Manipur. I am a Low Vision, I lost my vision later in life. I have finished my Master’s degree, but it was very hard for me to study after I lost my sight. I faced many challenges in reading, writing, and using the computer. I didn’t know how to continue my education properly. Then I got a chance to join training at WABM. After joining, my life changed a lot. I learned how to use screen readers, how to type and read using the computer, and how to scan books or documents to make them accessible. I also learned about low vision settings and other useful tools. Before the training, I felt helpless and worried about my future. But after the training, I feel more confident and independent. Now, I can use the computer by myself and continue my learning. WABM helped me to believe in myself again and showed me that I can still do many things.
