Background
I am Nandini. I belong to Andra Pradesh. I completed graduation with Bachelor of arts. I am person with totally Blindness. I completed Basic foundation and Advanced employability at Enable India. Currently, I am working as a Computer trainer at Samarpana charitable trust for the Disabled in Karnataka since 2 years.
Teaching Approach
I use following ideas and methods while training:
- Providing audio recordings.
- Focusing on spellings before diving in to related concepts.
- PEER teaching method.
- Read and understand training materials with screen reader.
- Giving more real world examples while teaching.
- Take their own notes.
- Use assistive devices.
- Contribute extra support if the candidates need regarding training.
- Present what they’ve learned to others.
- Teach new students.
- Apply their skills in real-world situations, like in their schools, colleges, or jobs.
- I also listen to each student’s needs and adjust my teaching to suitable them.
Area of Expertise
I am expert in teaching to school and college students, demonstrating Assistive devices, Conducting Android mobile workshops, conducting awareness workshops.
