Let’s hear from one of the core members of the #SeeAMillion Collective

It all started in early 2016 when visionary leaders working for blind and low vision had a deep desire to do much more! These leaders had created cutting edge products and services for the community. The impact of their work was there to see – blind and low vision earning, contributing, leading a life of dignity, being taxpayers, volunteering, building a family, building the nation!

But that was not enough! Something was missing…….

The Ahaa moment arrived after many deliberations! A combined vision to impact a million. A deep desire to amplify what has been done, to work closely with the community, to make everybody’s work multiply and benefit far reaching corners of the country and the world.

And in the year 2018, #SeeAMillion Campaign was launched along with the Pioneers & Thought Leaders from the Disability Space with a mission to transform Persons with Blindness & Low Vision into Active Citizens & Nation Builders through Digital Empowerment.

Mission

To equip individuals with vision impairment with 21st-century digital skills, assistive tools, and a supportive community—so they can pursue education, employment, and independence.
