Orientation to Windows Accessibility for Low Vision [AWI_110]
Course Description
This awareness program introduces participants to the built-in accessibility features available in Microsoft Windows that make computers more accessible for persons with low vision. Many users are unaware of these powerful tools and continue to face unnecessary challenges while using computers. Through live demonstrations and practical examples, participants gain an overview of key Windows accessibility settings such as Magnifier, Text Size, Display Scaling, Contrast Themes, Color Filters, Mouse Pointer, and Text Cursor. The program empowers participants to explore these features, understand their benefits, and confidently customize Windows based on their individual visual needs.

Student & Partner Reviews

“I am interested to open up my own shop but thinking of the challenges pulled me back. The mobile van campaign, introduced me to Talking Calculator, CDI mobile app for recognising currency and Pressure Mat so that I can identify when customer enters my shop. Now I am confident to take the first step to start my business.” - Totally Blind beneficiary, Karnataka
