Background
After earning a BA in Arts from the University of Kashmir and working at Tata Consultancy Services (2015–2019), I followed my passion for social impact. For the past four and a half years, I’ve led the Low Vision vertical at EnAble India—designing inclusive curricula, leading capacity-building programs, promoting assistive technologies, and collaborating with partners to develop real-world solutions for low-vision learners.
Teaching Approach
I begin by assessing each learner’s functional vision and digital exposure, then use real-life scenarios—like teaching Excel via a Braille slate—to make concepts tactile and memorable. By simplifying complex topics into step-by-step guides and integrating assistive technology from day one, I foster confidence, independence, and peer learning in every session .
