Background
I was born into a humble middle-class family in Bangalore, in the loving care of my mother. At the age of 12, I lost my eyesight due to an accident. Becoming visually impaired brought many challenges, especially in adjusting to the community and adapting to a new way of life. Fortunately, I received the opportunity to pursue my education in a supportive school environment. With determination, I completed my graduation and later joined a social organization as a special teacher. Alongside my teaching career, I have a deep passion for playing cricket, Table tennis and exploring new places through travel.
Teaching Approach
My teaching approach focuses on accessibility, simplicity, and hands-on learning. I teach computers using the NVDA screen reader for visually impaired candidates. I follow a step-by-step method where I first explain concepts clearly, then demonstrate them with NVDA, and finally allow the learners to practice independently. I encourage interactive learning by asking students to perform tasks themselves, which helps build confidence and problem-solving skills. I also use real-life examples and scenarios so that they can immediately relate the skills to their daily life, education, or workplace needs.
